I've ordered from here for over 15 years, and it's been my favourite Chinese restaurant in the Lower Mainland. I have always recommended it to others and ordered takeout and eaten in. This time I ordered pickup, and it was just OK. I was disappointed in the chow mein again. I asked for extra bean sprouts; otherwise it's too dry, and this is the second time they haven't provided them. I've noticed the extra ingredients are less in quantity as well, i.e. onions, cabbage, etc. The black forest cake was a smaller-than-usual piece, and even the cherry on top was cut in half. The wonton soup was great, and they provided the usual broccoli and pork slices. The honey garlic pork also had not much sauce and was overall dry. I hesitate to say this, but cutting corners is noticeable, and it is now making me reconsider where I order Chinese food from in future.

Have dealt with Chan's for over thirty years on a regular basis and for the most part have enjoyed the meals. Very disappointed this time, spring roll had a ten inch piece of string in the filling. Completely puts you off of your meal and begs the question as to how clean kitchen is in preparing food and the quality of that food produced. Unsure if we will continue with Chan's or seek an alternative provider,
